Below are links to our pages of optional addons you can use with our 14in1 systems, everything from our Head Guard which adds a low coolant sensor & alarm, to Head Guard Ultra, which adds low coolant & water pressure sensors & alarms, to our range of wideband kits which will enable air fuel ratios to display, and we even have a thermo fan triggering kit with relay. Any questions about the addons please reach out to our tech team and they will be happy to assist.

With our Head Guard and Head Guard Ultra add-ons, the JRP 14in1 gauge can be expanded to include a Low Coolant sensor and audible alarm. The Ultra add-on also introduces real-time Water Pressure monitoring, providing a comprehensive upgrade to your engine protection strategy.
Standalone low coolant alarm systems can cost upwards of $200 by comparison, integrating this feature into the JRP 14in1 system delivers significant value without the need for separate units or cluttered installs. The Ultra pack's additional Water Pressure input further enhances early warning capabilities by detecting abnormalities in cooling system pressure that often precede overheating or mechanical failure.
Whether it’s a gradual head gasket leak, stuck thermostat, faulty radiator cap, or a catastrophic loss of coolant Head Guard is engineered to alert you early, before it becomes engine-threatening.

Our Thermo Fan control addon is designed specifically for customers who want to control relays based on live temperature data from the gauge.
With this module installed, the gauge can act as a fully functional thermo fan controller, using sensor inputs like Water Temp to automatically switch fans on or off. The system supports user-definable temperature thresholds directly within the gauge, offering full flexibility without the need for an external controller.
Applications range from basic setups such as activating aftermarket radiator thermo fans to more advanced configurations like triggering fans for external transmission or engine oil coolers. It can even be used for custom solutions like activating intercooler water spray systems based on real-time Intake Air Temperature (IAT) readings.

For those serious about tuning and protecting their diesel engines, JRP is one of the only multi-gauge systems on the market that supports Diesel Air-Fuel Ratios thanks to our Spartan 3D wideband controller and O2 sensor.
This powerful add-on lets your 14in1 gauge display both AFR (10–40) and Lambda (0.69–2.76) directly on screen, giving you real-time insight into your engine's combustion health. You’ll find the Spartan 3D Diesel Wideband Kit in the add-ons section for our multi-gauge range.
But we don’t stop there. Once connected, you can activate a Diesel Rich Warning an exclusive JRP feature that monitors AFR levels and alerts you the moment they dip into potentially damaging rich territory. As far as we know, we’re the only standalone multi-gauge system in the world with this level of diesel protection built-in.

Two EGT Sensor Options
At JRP, we’ve always focused on delivering value for the Diesel 4x4 community. Back in 2018, we launched our v2 multi-gauge kits with a custom-designed EGT sensor known today as the JRP EGT v2. This robust sensor has served thousands of customers well, especially in turbo diesel setups.
As our customer base grew, we saw an opportunity to take things further. Rather than replacing the v2 entirely and increasing the base cost of our kits, we introduced the JRP EGT v3 as an optional upgrade. Both sensors are solid choices you simply choose what suits your setup and budget best when adding your kit to cart.
You’ll also find comparison photos to help you see the physical differences. For turbo diesel engines, EGT monitoring is a must and we’ve got two great options ready.
V2 EGT - Pyro Sensor
Our original JRP EGT v2 sensor is still a high-quality, proven option for most diesel applications. Built from durable 3030 stainless steel, the probe is shielded to prevent false readings from external grounding. It uses multi-core wiring (not single core like many cheaper alternatives), improving vibration resistance and long-term reliability.
Features include a Deutsch plug for easy installation and full heat shielding on the wiring. If you don’t have a history of EGT sensor failures or aren’t pushing high temps along with a lot of offroad use and vibration, this sensor offers excellent value and performance.
V3 EGT - Pyro Sensor
For customers demanding the best, the v3 sensor steps things up. We developed it using real-world feedback from workshops, dyno testing, and years of data. It builds on the strengths of the v2, with upgrades in materials, construction, and response speed.
The v3 uses a thicker probe made from high-grade 2520 stainless steel, offering improved durability, especially for pre-turbo installs or high-temp environments. Like the v2, it features multi-core wire and precision shielding to ensure accurate readings, but with higher-spec wiring and refined internal crimping. The tapered tip design improves response time, and testers have reported noticeably quicker reaction to rapid EGT changes under load.
If you're running a hard-driven diesel, the v3 sensor is the ideal choice. And since the upgrade cost is minimal, it’s worth considering for anyone who wants the most durable, responsive sensor we offer.

High Quality Sensors
The sensors included with our multi-gauge systems deliver high-end performance without the high-end price tag. We’ve tested them side-by-side with big-name brand gauges using reference-grade tools, and every sensor falls well within a 1% accuracy range.
We know how critical sensor accuracy and durability are they’re the heart of any quality gauge system. But in real-world use, chasing anything beyond 1% accuracy often means paying significantly more for a difference you’ll never notice. For 99% of users, that extra 0.1% just isn’t worth the cost.
With JRP, you’re getting reliable, accurate sensors built for performance without the inflated price.
Transmission Temp Sensor & Readout
If you're not planning to use Oil Temp, you can easily repurpose that sensor to monitor Transmission Temp instead no need to buy anything extra. Just change a setting on the 14in1 screen, and the gauge will display Trans Temp using the standard Oil Temp sensor supplied in the kit.
Want to run Water Temp + Oil Temp + Trans Temp all at once? That’s possible too but it comes with a small trade-off. Our kits also include an IAT (Intake Air Temp) sensor as standard, and we've designed its input port to be multi-purpose. You can plug either the IAT or a dedicated Transmission Temp sensor into that port.
So, if you want the full trio Water, Oil, and Trans Temp you’ll need to purchase our add-on Trans Temp sensor and forgo using the IAT sensor. We’ve maxed out the available input ports on the control unit, but this setup still gives you flexibility without needing a whole new system.
Dual Volts Inputs
One of the standout features added to our v2 control units is a second dedicated volts input—perfect for 4x4 owners running dual battery setups.
Now, you can monitor both your primary and secondary (auxiliary) battery voltages directly on the gauge. This has been a highly requested feature from the off-road community, and we're stoked to have it fully integrated. The secondary input supports a wide range from 8V to 30V, giving you flexibility no matter your setup.
This feature isn’t just for 4x4s, either. Performance vehicle owners may also find dual voltage monitoring useful for logging or managing separate power circuits—check out our 14in1 screen product page for more on how it can benefit your build.
Air Intake Temperature Readout
With the addition of an IAT (Intake Air Temperature) sensor to the v2 Control Unit and Sensor Package, JRP 14in1 gauges can now monitor and display real-time air intake temps, a key metric for anyone pushing their diesel engine under load.
For turbo diesel engines, intake temperature plays a huge role in performance, reliability, and safety. Whether you’re towing, off-roading, or driving in extreme climates, high intake temps can seriously affect power delivery and increase the risk of long-term engine stress.
Even old mechanically injected Diesel’s without an ECU, knowing your intake temps can help you:
- Spot when your intercooler is no longer keeping up
- Detect heat soak after long 4x4 runs or hill climbs
- Identify performance drops when towing under high ambient heat
- See how different driving styles or terrain affect your intake temps
If you’re running a tune or upgraded turbo setup, keeping an eye on IAT becomes even more important. High intake temps can contribute to increased EGTs, reduced efficiency, and in some cases, premature wear on internal components.
The 14in1 gauge makes it easy, giving you a dedicated intake temperature readout with customizable warnings. If temps rise above your safe threshold, the system will alert you automatically, helping you take action before performance or reliability takes a hit.
For tuned or worked diesel engines, intake temp is a data point you don’t want to ignore. With this sensor now included in the kit, JRP brings you even closer to full-spectrum engine protection.
OLED Screen
Our 14in1 Multi Gauge systems use a high-quality OLED screen rather than a traditional LCD, and the difference is noticeable from the moment you power it on.
OLED screens are brighter, clearer, and offer superior off-angle viewing, giving you far more flexibility in mounting the display. No matter where you place it dash-mounted, pillar-mounted, or tucked away you’ll be able to read your data easily and clearly.
One of the most important features of any gauge is readability in all conditions, and this is where OLED technology really shines (pun intended). Unlike LCDs, which can suffer from poor viewing angles and weaker backlighting, our OLED screens maintain strong visibility even when viewed from the side.
To ensure the screen is comfortable to read day or night, the 14in1 gauge also features:
- 3-Stage Automatic Brightness Adjustment – A built-in light sensor automatically dims or brightens the display based on ambient lighting.
- 5-Stage Manual Brightness Control – If you prefer, you can manually fine-tune the screen’s brightness to your liking.
Clear, vibrant, and built for real-world driving our OLED screens make sure your vital information is always easy to see.
Customisable Displays
The JRP 14in1 OLED gauge features four selectable screen layouts, each offering a different arrangement of sensor data and readouts. It’s possible to display up to 6 different readouts on the gauge at once, or you can enlarge two readouts having a total of 4 on the screen at once with two being larger in size.
Of the four selectable screens, two are fully customizable, allowing you to choose:
- Which sensors or readouts are displayed
- Where each readout is placed
- The size and style of each display element
You can view the screen cell breakdown charts further down this page to explore the different size and style options, along with details on which sensors are supported in each configuration.
Another great feature of the 14in1 gauge is the ability to independently configure your units of measurement:
- Speed: KPH or MPH
- Pressure: PSI or KPA
- Temperature: Celsius or Fahrenheit
This means you can set up the system exactly how you want it such as KPH for speed, PSI for pressure, and Celsius for temps without compromise.
(And for our fellow Aussies yes, you can absolutely keep using PSI without having to learn KPA!)

Sensors Have 1/8 PT Threads
At JRP, we’re always engineering smarter ways to make sensor installation easier and more adaptable. That’s why we’ve adopted a unique 1/8 PT (JIS Tapered Pipe) thread across most of our sensors offering a more versatile fit across a wide range of setups.
Understanding Thread Standards
Most automotive sensors typically use one of two thread types:
- NPT (National Pipe Thread): Common in North America and aftermarket components, with 27 threads per inch on a 1/8 fitting.
- BSP (British Standard Pipe): Used globally, including most OEM engine components, with 28 threads per inch on a 1/8 fitting.
These thread types are not interchangeable - forcing them together can damage the threads and lead to sealing issues or leaks.
The Advantage of PT Threads
JRP sensors use PT threads, which measure approximately 27½ threads per inch. While they are technically different from both NPT and BSP, this “in-between” thread form allows for a reliable mechanical fit into both port types - when installed correctly using PTFE (Plumbers) tape.
PTFE tape lubricates the threads allowing the threads to tighten more effectively and form a reliable seal. It also helps prevent leaks and reduces the risk of the threads seizing or galling, making removal easier in the future.
Thanks to JRP’s tighter-than-standard manufacturing tolerances, this level of compatibility is made possible without compromising thread integrity or requiring additional adapters.
Practical Benefits
- Direct Fit: Installs confidently into both NPT and BSP ports—no guesswork or extra adapters needed.
- Time Saving: Simplified installations mean you can get your vehicle back on the road faster.
- Cost-effective: Reduces the number of adapters and fittings needed, saving both time and money.
Note: While our Water Temp, Oil Temp, Trans Temp, and Pressure sensors now feature PT threads for maximum compatibility, please be aware that our EGT sensors remain 1/8 NPT, and IAT sensors are 3/8 NPT. Any future changes to these specifications will be promptly updated.
By integrating PT threads into our sensor designs, JRP continues to prioritize your convenience, ensuring our products are not only high-quality but also adaptable to your specific needs.
