This is a replacement 14point7 ADV LSU 02 sensor, which are a next-generation wideband oxygen sensor designed for the most demanding applications, designed for those running Spartan 3 CAN wideband controllers or the Spartan 3 Lite who want the best in accuracy, durability, and response speed.
Manufactured by 14point7 using genuine Bosch ADV internals, these sensors combine advanced design with robust construction to deliver precise air-fuel readings and long-term reliability. The ADV series represents a major leap forward over traditional LSU 4.9 sensors, offering linear sensing technology instead of the older radial design. This change allows for faster response times, improved life expectancy, and superior resistance to environmental stress.
The redesigned heater element reduces power draw and minimizes the risk of thermal shock, one of the main causes of premature O₂ sensor failure. Combined with its tougher sensing structure, the ADV sensor thrives in performance-focused builds where accuracy and resilience matter most.
When paired with a Spartan 3 wideband, the controller can be configured specifically for the ADV sensor type, allowing it to fully leverage the faster signal response and higher precision. This pairing ensures your ECU receives the most accurate AFR data possible, helping you tune safely and extract maximum performance from your engine.
NOTE: For Spartan 3 Lite owners, you will need to own a serial to USB device to be able to reprogram your Spartan 3 Lite if you were running a 4.9 02 sensor before and using an ADV sensor for the first time. If you bought your Spartan 3 Lite from us originally and ordered it with an ADV sensor, we would have programmed your Spartan 3 Lite for the ADV sensor, but if you bought it from anywhere else and were running a 4.9 sensor before, your unit will most likely not be programmed for the ADV, contact us if unsure.
If you’re replacing your existing LSU ADV sensor or simply upgrading from a 4.9-type, this is the premium choice for uncompromising performance, speed, and longevity.
