While our 14in1 multi gauge and high-boost 52mm gauge kits use our proven 7-Bar MAP sensors (capable of reading up to 99 PSI), the two gauges listed above simply don’t require that wide of a range. In fact, using only a small portion of a 7-Bar sensor’s range means the signal output only travels through a small window when reading up to 30 PSI. This leaves unused resolution on the table, so we designed a sensor that takes full advantage of the available voltage signal range.
By tailoring the voltage curve to a 0–30 PSI range, the new 3-Bar sensor delivers greater precision and signal stability, especially in mid-boost regions where fine control and consistency matter most. The sensor’s internal calibration allows the gauge to interpret boost pressure more accurately, while also improving data linearity and reducing electrical noise.
The result is a boost sensor that’s not only highly accurate but also better matched to the actual operating range of most diesel and moderate boost petrol setups, making readings smoother and more responsive during everyday driving or under full load.
